a tasteful island vibe
We're tucked away on the second floor at 306 Main with beautiful views of Main Street out of our arched front windows. Our large, covered back patio looks out over Market Square, Market Square Tower, Hotel Icon, The Hermann Building and down into the glass ceiling of Okra Charity Bar. The building is well over 100 years old and overflows with character from its rich, storied history. We've designed the space to accentuate the iconic exposed brick, as well as our original century old floors, and harmonize it with the downtown feel for which Main street bars have become known. Our exotic, tasteful island resort components bring an oasis like escape to Main Street.
The bar itself is just over 50 feet long with four, custom, 10 foot hand-carved tiki statues rising up to the 13 foot high ceilings and holding over 75 hand selected rums that represent regions worldwide. Our focus will be to provide delicious craft cocktails made with the freshest juices and house made ingredients. I've attached a preliminary drink menu with some of our exciting offerings. We'll have weekly specials that highlight the variety and complexity of the extensive rum category. We're excited to bring this unique destination to the thriving Downtown Houston neighborhood.
